The Vessel Energy Analysis Tool (VEAT) estimates the energy consumption of various vessel loads based on responses to ~20 questions about vessel characteristics and operations. The model is supported by results from 29 fishing vessel energy audits conducted in Alaska, as well as dozens of interviews with fishers.
